Here’s a good video that gives an overview of a series of studies conducted at Berkley University that demonstrates how those who are wealthier have less empathy or act unethically.
It certainly reminds me of how those with inherent advantages selfishly attribute their standing to actual skill.
Great experiment on the mindset of the rich Brian – economical inequality. The key is education to overcome economical poverty. It is human nature to strive to better one’s life and achieve wealth. While it may appear that most rich have less empathy, on the other hand what is to be made of the fabulously wealthy who are bent on sharing their wealth by leaving vast sums and bequests to the less fortunate?
